A Tranquil Lakeside Sanctuary

The Lake Nubanusit House, nestled on a narrow lakeside lot in Hancock, NH, exemplifies innovative design within zoning constraints. The three-story plan optimizes space while ensuring long-term energy efficiency and privacy. The Lake Nubanusit House demonstrates expertise in crafting functional spaces that flow and complement the tranquil shoreline.

Project Highlights:

  • Existing Footprint: The design adheres to the existing building footprint, maximizing space and views.
  • Separation and Flow: Sleeping areas are strategically placed above and below the main living space, providing separation and privacy.
  • Outdoor Space: A secondary structure creates a sheltered outdoor area and provides indirect access to the main entrance.

Awards:

  • Winner of the 2013 AIANH Excellence in Architecture Design Merit Award
